The Schaffer Companies, Ltd. was established in 1971 as an independent claims adjusting company. Through our expertise in claims handling, we have become a leader in Third Party Claims Administration. We have a proven record of achievement in the insurance industry and have been a major contributor to our clients' successes.
Our plan of action is to reduce exposure, while handling claims in a cost-effective manner. We understand that simply reducing costs is not a solution for effective claims management. It is for this reason that all of our claims administration services are custom tailored to provide the most resourceful and comprehensive management of your insurance program. Many Insurance Companies utilize us as their authorized state claims office. We also represent carriers on a per claim and limited assignment basis. We also offer Internet connectivity to allow for a rapid and cost effective line of communication between our clients and staff. We provide direct online access which allows our clients 24 hour availability to their loss information. Online claims information is obtained via the same program with which you are using to view this text! No special equipment or software is required to take advantage of our technology. You will have Complete access to ALL claims information utilizing the very same interface used by our adjusting staff.
Medical rehabilitation, vocational counseling, and labor market surveys are provided through Medical Rehabilitation Consultants, Inc. Schaffer Risk Services, provides loss control, self insurance and risk consulting.
